Governance Systems International has been contracted by USAID/Uganda to implement a 3-year Local Priorities and Partnership Activity (LPPA). LPPA is a USAID-funded activity that is supporting Ugandan regional organisations to improve the ways they work on a regional level to assess, plan and build development alliances. The purpose of this project is to support and build the capacity of local Ugandan regional platforms in their work with stakeholders and research partners. LPPA will ensure they are reputable, inclusive, functional and sustainable regional platforms for evidence-informed and scalable development approaches and initiatives. LPPA will ensure the regional platforms have the capacity to operate independently and sustainably with local stakeholders like civil society, the private sector, academia, and other development partners and local actors. LPPA will enhance the regional platforms’ organisational, leadership, technical, and administrative abilities.
